Wall Eagle

With a wingspan measuring over 3 feet wide and a height of over 18 inches this large political bird is a standout. While Railroad eagles grace many collections in various sizes and can commonly be found in the market place, this bird is unique with his head facing to the left and a wreath with cut out mobile swastika within its talons.

Generally 3rd Reich eagles are sought after to display over a collection and are exceptional display pieces in their own right. I am not sure where this bird was perched but it is a very large example easily surpassing the largest standard box car eagle I have seen, and its three dimensional wreath and overall size gives it significant weight as well.
