Large Polished Königsberg Amber Decorative Cask- SBM Königsberg Manufacture # 3360
Large decorative cask manufactured in butterscotch amber and measuring 8.5 inches x 5 x 2 inches high. This is a large cask when compared to what I normally see and is done in natural raw amber and will date to the 1926-1945 years and was manufactured by SBM Königsberg Manufacture. The SBM was a manufacturer of a multitude of items during the 3rd Reich period from commercial pieces to household items and presentations of various shapes and sizes. The material is quite popular as a collectible in its own right as an antique and from time to time you see the presentation examples including the Mein Kampf editions with amber and silver embellished covers. A very nice example in undamaged condition.
