Bronze German Boy Soldier with Pickelhaube # 3327
This small bronze dates back to the pre WWI era and shows a smiling young boy in the uniform of a Prussian soldier complete with pickelhaube, bayonet, cartridge box and rifle. The bronze measures approximately 5 1/2" tall including the original variegated, polished marble base. Rich chocolate brown patina. The back of the bronze base is indistinctly signed in monogram and there is a stamped letter B as well. Very nicely detailed. Great display piece for a desk.
