Bronze SA Mann- Hermann Hosaeus # 3063
Large bronze marching SA man measuring approx. 13 inches tall overall and the base approx. 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" tall. Artist signed Hosaeus for Hermann Hoseaeus, noted Third Reich artist who worked on many large scale war memorials as well as standard sculpture. Hoseaus was a member of the Nazi party and worked with metals and in many cases cast his own works, he is listed for the period and his bio information is readily available and most is in the native German.
