Measuring approx 80 X 160 cm tall these corner tapestries manufactured by Deutsches Heimatwerk can be found in period photo's and publications geared to the SS man and his celebration of the Holidays, often found in the home and usually placed in a corner setting with a Julchest (Jultruhe made by Deutsches Heimatwerk) bearing a Julleuchter and various SS items including the SS family book.

This particular example bears the Tree of Life pattern as its main motif and the branches spread out across the tapestry carrying two birds and displays two jumping unicorns the the base of the trunk.
