The bronze Der Fechter pictured was another example attributed to the Estate of Franz Nagy and is exceptionally rare with two known examples. The piece was no doubt given to well know recipients and possibly an award. It can be found in this identical form in porcelain from Allach with the presentation SS base and is pictured being held by Karl Diebitsch in a 1939 Calender reference.
