Hermann Goring Bronze Bust ( Gustav Adolf Hedblom ) # 1128

Rarely do I get the chance to acquire a nice Goring bust. This example is a 1/3 life size piece and has an overall height a 8 3/4 inches and the head is approx 6 1/2 inches.

The piece is very nice and is signed by the artist Gustav Hedlom, it is also foundry marked and a 100% original cast.

Gustav Hedlom was a Swedish born artist and in early years worked with paint. He moved to working with sculpture in Italy and then on to study at Stuttgart college as a pupil under Ulfert Janssen. Hedlom went on to open a studio in Berlin and took residence in Stuttgart. Well known for his portraits and busts and his Mercury fountains at the Stuttgart commercial college.
