Iron Cross Patriotic Cup and Saucer- Meissen
High quality porcelain cup and saucer by the firm of Meissen. Cup measures approx 4 1/2 inches in height and is hand painted with the Iron Cross and leaves in a remembrance motif. Both the cup and the saucer bear antique gold accents to both the motif, rim area's, the dragon handle, and the dates applied to the saucer itself. More often than not when finding patriotic porcelain it is on the lower levels of quality which is not the case here and rarely do you find the Meissen examples and the quality associated with the firm. Really nice pieces and really make a display pop.
