Third Reich Wall Decor- Early NSDAP # 3287
This is actually a box or chest lid that would probably date the the early 20's. It measure approx. 19 1/2 x 9 1/2 and depicts the very early Nazi eagle over a crest which I have not researched. I am guessing it was probably saved due to the crest and managed to survive in partial form until it was converted as a wall hanger. A little unusual but that's what seems to pile up here sometimes and it is hanging on the wall here. Neat piece manufactured of oak and something you do not see every day.
