Hermann Goring Decorative Serving Plate- Sevres # 3349
A large 10.5 inch plate manufactured by the firm of Sevres in commemoration of Hermann Goring's birthday in 1943. Sevres was a manufacture of several patterns of porcelain for Goring all being of very high quality and bearing the birthday of the Reichsmarschall. This example has the large coat of arms for Goring to the center of the plate in gold gilding and retains border trim to the center and outer rims in antiques gold leaf. To the rear is the dedication which is found on these and the hunting set also presented for his birthday by Sevres.
The plate survives in undamaged condition with no chips, damage or repair and will no doubt make a nice accent piece for its new owner.
