Offered here is a rare, large oil painting, a portrait of three Aryan youths, possibly siblings. Two boys in Hitler Youth uniforms, with fanfare and snare drum, and a Jungmaedel member at center. They are portrayed in an idyllic, pastoral German landscape. The painting is unsigned, though of fine quality. Painted on wood panel. (some slight warping which does not affect the appearance, as you can see in the photos)
The panel measures approximately 40" x 32", and is in a rather cheap, modern wood frame. There are some verical hairlines in the panel which can be seen in the painting close up, but do not really detract in any way. Paintings of this period are rare, most having been destroyed at the war's end. This is a classic example of the art of the Third Reich.
