Adolf Hitler Bronze Bust- Alfred Keller (1902–1955) # 3419
This is an untouched and and beautifully sculptured bust by Alfred Keller. The piece measure approx. 17 inches high overall and the bust approx. 14 inches. The piece sits on its original stepped two tier stone base the piece presents nicely and its fairly uncommon to find them like this as most dont even have the base. I do not have much on the artist currently but as is often the case he sculpted animals and insects prior to his work in the political arena. Born in 1902 Keller was a museum artist and worked in the Museum of Natural History in Berlin until his death in 1955. Many times the artist for some of these busts were commissioned for their work by the party or sources within and this may be one of those cases. It is a beautiful and complete bust for someone who wants it all as it was in the period.
