Allach Porcelain 1936 Lidded Rally Bowl

The 1936 Allach rally bowl with lid is without a doubt the rarest example of the four years in which the rally pieces were made. It is easily the most difficult to find and displays characteristics of the earliest manufactured pieces for the firm of Allach.

This one is complete with lid and is in mint condition, displays the early Allach logo specific to this piece and no other. The Nuremberg pieces from Allach ran from 1936-1939 even though the 1939 rally was was cancelled due to the onset of war.

The 1936 example would be released in the first official catalog year of the firm, in 1937 they went to a larger bowl with no lid, followed in 1938 by a vase with bisque Adler, and in 1939 a small bowl that is the most commonly encountered. These are nice items and this one is actually the first I have ever owned since I have been collecting Allach porcelain.
