Allach Porcelain Candle Holders

Pair of Allach #89's by Carl Diebitsch, key designer for the firm of Allach and for the SS. Diebitsch was responsible for many designs for the firm of Allach and they are recognizable to most collectors. His work during the period included the design of the SS uniforms and the chains of those mean old SS dagger's, amongst other items. His work at Allach started in its infancy and he remained with the firm from probably the earliest days from 1935-45. Diebitsch continued to work after the war with porcelain and in other genre's of art but his days and his models for the 3rd Reich are the most desirable and notable.

This pair is mint and undamaged other than some candle wax as I use them on occasion, two separate dates of manufacture are present here with these and one bears the Allach with octagon and one the impressed runes. These were very popular in their day and its not hard to understand why. This model of Allach more so than any other models shows transitional methods of manufacture for the firm as they progressed from a start up into the war years. Very nice pair that will no doubt please the new owner.
