Hermann Goring Hunting Pattern Cigar Ashtray- Sevres
Hermann Goring hunting pattern ashtray from the firm of Sevres. This is part of the set that Goring received for his 50th birthday and bears his family crest and is one of the most recognizable patterns for Goring. The ashtray manufactured for cigar use measures approx. 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 x 1/2 and is naturally a high quality porcelain like everything else he had. The piece is a green porcelain exterior with bright white interior and gold gilt accents to the upper rim, crest, and oak leaves that adorn its sides. There is a minor area of touch up to the right lower exterior that can be seen in the photos and will keep this from higher in price but does not detract all that much and would make a great accent piece for a Luftwaffe collection.
