1936 Olympic Raised Relief Porcelain Plate
A very nice high quality porcelain plate in raised relief and measuring 7 3/4 inches in diameter. I have never seen this example before and its probably a cottage piece but not common just the same. High raised relief lettering "Olympic Games Berlin 1936" Included is a depiction of an athlete with torch and olympic rings. Hanging apparatus to the rear and a nice heavy feel overall. If interested let me know and I will seek out the maker and while I recognize the mark I do not recall the manufacturer. Nice piece and not the typical kitsch often associated with the games.
