This is a dedication plakette measuring about 3 1/2 inches in diameter for the house of German education. The medal features Hans Schemm who dies in 1935 in a an air crash. Not to be confused with its tinnier wearable example that is less than half its size. Nice piece which bears Rosenthal marking for 1936.
