SS Wedding/ Mein Kampf Cask
Been about 10 years or more since I have had one of these. Box measures just under 10 inches high x 7.5 Wide on the lid and is in very nice condition. Often referred to as a wedding cask or Mein Kampf cask the casks true purpose is uncertain but does maintain an underside frame for a picture. I have often thought of them as KIA or remembrance pieces and some collectors are split on them as no period photos exist, but that standard is a bridge too far for most any artifact. This is a nice piece none the less and the only detraction is the base board has bowed slightly giving a little lift to the interior border frame. It however displays beautifully here on my table. Nice piece and will someone happy.
