Considered a variant model with the inscription to the interior bowl, this second candle holder was obtained along with the first listed as #854. The exterior bears Prof. Karner's chain of life motif with the interior inscription reading "In der Sippe ew'ger Kette bin ich nur ein Glied" (In the family of the eternal chain, I am only one link).

Awarded to the mother from Himmler these pieces must have been treasured by the recipients and given their almost subdued appearance lacking any blatant symbolism, are probably retained by recipient families in Europe to this day.
