Allach Single Candle Holder #63 # 1091
Allach manufactured a series of candle holders of various shapes and
sizes with some being more common than others. This particular example
is model #63 and was an early production piece for Allach and is
actually not all that common in my opinion.
In the original
1936 Allach catalog there were various designs by Franz Nagy, many of
these designs for reasons unknown to me were discontinued in 1937. The
#63 managed to make it through into wartime production, most likely due
to popularity.
Franz Nagy was an early founder of the Allach
factory along with Diebitsch when initially set up in Munich and his
early pieces are difficult at best to obtain.
