Gau Thueringen Anniversary Plate- Schoenau # 1700
I think there are about 2 or 3 of these out there in collections
to my knowledge and they are a rare catch indeed. The Gau Thuringen
anniversary plate is said to have been a gift to the visiting Alten
Garde of the N.S.D.A.P during their visits to the Gau on its
anniversary.
These were manufactured by the firm of Schoenau
Swaine and Co of Thuringa and are manufactured of a high quality white
porcelain and display the Gau logo of Thueringen and its day badge with
the anniversary dates of 1925-35. Plate is in mint undamaged condition
and would make a nice display piece for the political collector.
A rare plate and no disappointments here.
