Hermann Goring Hunting Pattern Cup and Saucer- Sevres # 3375
Hermann Goring hunting pattern cup and saucer from the firm of Sevres. This is part of the set that Goring received for his 50th birthday and bears his family crest and is one of the most recognizable patterns for Goring. The cup bears a falcon and measures 2 3/4 x 3 inches approx. is mint and undamaged and something that I don't see come up too often anywhere, its a nice cup.
The saucer which measures approx. 7 1/4 seems a tad large for the cup and may be for a soup bowl and I could not find a comparable unit to compare. They do however look very nice together. The saucer itself has two areas of repair and touchup and while they don't really show, there is an area of darkening in the gold gilt leaves on the left of the plate that you can see but that's all you see unless you light it up with intensity.
These pieces are a green porcelain exterior with bright white porcelain base and gold gilt oak leaf accents and look great as a display accents.
