Nuremberg 1929 Rally Stickpin-Hoffstatter # 1971

The amount of items being listed on the web as mint that is actually fairly terrible is amazing, its almost as if sellers are either blind or they think calling a dog turd something else makes it something else. The application of the "Mint" condition scale is one of the most abused systems for rating that I can think of. I have often considered something better might be in order and while I understand there is some wiggle in the word depending on the genre of item and the sellers eyes, but be serious.

After some careful consideration and looking at this piece I have taken to rating it and trying something new to try and relate what it looks like in hand. I utilized a system that I made up just now. I typed my description into the handy Google translator and ran it in Latin and German and came up with this.

Conditionus Mintus und Penis Erectis..... Now I am just a simple guy and not sure what that means, but I would bet the guy who buys this will when he opens the shipping box.
