Pabst Style Desk Eagle W/ Dedication- Wehrmacht # 1678
This is a screamer desk piece measuring 9 1/2 inches at the wings and
at a height of 7 inches. It is a Wehrmacht bird done in a style similar
to the Pabst eagles I like so much and will make a killer desk piece
for someones war room.
The piece displays 100% of its
original silver wash that has blackened over time giving it a ton of
character and its in mint condition. The base is what I call a period
upgrade where instead of seeing a tacked silver plated dedication
plaque, someone engraved right into the front of the base marble and I
rarely see that and love it.
Dedication reads to a machine gun corp as follows: " Zur Errinerung a.d. Ufffz. Vereinigung 4.M.G.K Jnf. Reg. 61.
Overall one of the nicest desk pieces I have had.
