The Angora Project and the SS Camp System # 809

Anyone who has interest in the camp systems and the SS should take note of this photo album. Housed at the Wisconsin Historical Society is an incredible view of another SS project that ran along with Herb Gardens and Porcelain manufacture.

Reference has been made in period documentation and articles on the camp systems to rabbit hutches and the Angora Rabbits. This photo album was a presentation to Heinrich Himmler and is covered in Angora rabbit fur. Recovered in a barn by an intelligence offer at the end of the war, this album has to be one of the most interesting items I have encountered, and at face value may seem boring or mundane when compared to some of the colorful SS items that can be found, but it deserves a hard look.

This is a prize and its story is quite remarkable, The pictures speak for themselves and the viewer can take what they wish from them.
