NSDAP Bronze Wall Eagle # 1129
Measuring approx. 15 inches by 8 inches is a cast bronze adler. When
the first pictures of this piece hit my mailbox I turned it down due to
the cast and it appearance, it was picked up by fellow collector and
found to have had been poorly painted which explained a lot.
It
has now been stripped of its paint to reveal bronze and a much better
looking piece than what I was first shown. I have never really seen this
particular design before which I consider to be a good thing. It is a
nice piece and would make for a nice display in someones bunker.
With aluminum trolley eagles in the market with asking prices twice the amount, this may make sense for someone.
