Bronze Sculpture Benito Mussolini # 2045
This is
an original, pre-WWII, cast bronze bust of Benito Mussolini on its
original two tier, cut travertine base. The overall height is just over
10", the bronze itself measures about 8". The model is quite early, as
Mussolini is depicted in his civilian suit, tie and wing collar shirt.
He also has a fair amount of hair. The bronze has a dark brown patina
which shows only a few rubs to his coat. The metal is in excellent shape
with no dents or dings. The travertine base shows minor chips and
flakes, but is still in low excellent condition
