Hitler Youth Drummer in Bronze (Hitlerjugend Trommler) # 3164

Beautiful Hitler Youth Drummer in bronze measuring approx 13 1/2 inches tall and having a rich dark patina that remains intact after 80 years. Unsigned example but from the prestigious foundry of H. Noack in Berlin. Most probably cast around 1935 and a rare survivor. Strong political piece and difficult to find in the market today. Casting of bronze stopped in 1939 and much of the work was destroyed after the war. A great piece that was saved and retained by a long time collector where it has resided for decades.
