Martin Bormann/ Schloss Klessheim Teapot # 3389
This is a medium sized pot and not the typical smaller variants I encounter and it measures almost 8 inches across and about 6 inches high. These are often referred to a Klessheim pieces as that is where many of them were gathered at wars end and others claim Bormann had a service as well, but either way its political silver and ole Martin no doubt cut the check to pay for it. Very nice condition and just needs a cleaning if someone wants to take the time. It is maker marked for the firm of Krupp which is proper for these pieces and bears the proper national eagle which is done in larger scale for the pieces size. Condition is excellent and some minor handling is about it.
Good silver is getting scarce and if your going to buy it you should be buying known patterns and these are just that. First time I have had a pot this large and its very nice.
