Signed bronze portrait bust of Paul von Hindenburg as chancellor. This life size bust was sculpted by German sculptor Hildegard Domizlaff (1898-1987) about 1930. An exceptional artistic, rendering, capturing the world-weary expression and craggy face. A high quality casting, the bust retains its original patina and is still mounted on its original marble base. The bronze head measures just over 11", and the overall height is 14". This bronze was brought back to the US after WWII by an American army officer. Untouched original condtion.
