A scarce prewar plate of heroic nature and designed and signed T.H Karner at the nape of the neck. Rosenthal had I believe at least 2 desk piece and more than a few plaques of this style in both bisque and glazed porcelain with silver highlights. Measure approx. 8,5 inches and does have a chip to rear border that does not detract from display. Only one I ever had and most get destroyed from chemical solvents. This one is nice.
