Haus Der Kunst Etching for the 1933 Groundbreaking ( Richard Klein ) # 3129
The ground breaking for the Munich House of Arts was quite a show and would open the door for 12 years of a continuous flow of art of all mediums and would come to be celebrated on an annual basis with parades where people would attend in droves.
The Ground breaking itself
in 1933 would bring forth many pieces of presentation items much like
what was seen with the building of the Chancellery. Plaques, coins,
paper, and numerous pieces would be manufactured and sold or given in
presentation form to VIP's
This item is a limited edition
etching by Richard Klein the designer and artist responsible for the
logo for the Haus Der Kunst. While I am uncertain I believe this would
be for presentation and is the only example I have ever seen and quite
nice.
