Munich Burger Brau Beer Stein # 1630
I had a bunch of requests for one of these but they do not surface
all that often and this is actually the first one I have ever had. 1/2
Liter Munich beer stein from the famed Burger Brau. Political collectors
will know exactly what this is and its relevance in the early movement
of the NSDAP.
Site of the failed early bomb plot to kill
Hitler the Burger Brau has its place in history and these early steins
are sought after by collectors and can be seen in photographs being
utilized by U.S servicemen directly after the war.
Hand
painted with its pewter lid intact the stein is in very nice shape and
has a minor flaw to the front base that does not detract in my opinion
but is priced accordingly. Neat item that I rarely see in the market.
