Nuremberg Reich Adler- HB # 2072
A very nice and very original Nuremberg Reich Adler, and first one I
have had in some time as they are becoming difficult to find. Referred
to as an HB example by forum collectors for its HB manufacturing mark
for H. von Beusekom. The bird is perched on its original double tiered
marble base with remnants of the base paper. The bird measures 6 1/2
tall and 6 inches wide at the wings and the overall height is about 8
1/2 inches. Light surface scratches are coming out on 10x magnification
and someone probably wiped it down at some time in the past, so if you
walk around your bunker with a magnifying glass you might see what you
see here.
In general I frown on my photos being used on forums and have been known to decapitate people who do so without asking, but you can show this bird to anyone you want and its a no brainer.
