A beautiful colored sketch of a young Totenkopf man dated 1945 in
period frame. When I first saw this piece I automatically thought of
Willrich as the style is close and is top notch in all respects.
Measurements of the frame are approx 20 1/2 H x 15 1/4 W and the frame
shows some minor chipping and loss and is silver burnished over wood.
The
sketch bears the name of the soldier Jorg Hester and is signed by the
artist but I have no data on the artist himself at this time, given the
quality of the work however some research may turn something up on this
person.
