Erbhof Wrought Iron Hereditary Sign # 946

Said to have been displayed on farms to show hereditary rights and Aryan heritage, the Erbhof sign would mean a right to the soil.

The Erbhof laws modeled after property rights of ancient Europe and put in place in 1933 by SS Obergruppenführer Richard Darre, would allow property to pass from father to oldest son without hinder. The family would need to be of Aryan heritage and the sign would serve to protect the property from the state or otherwise.

Adolf Hitler having admired the British model of property rights and the manner in which property was passed to the eldest son, commended Darre privately for these Blood and Soil policies.

The premise would leave the other siblings to mingle upon the masses and serve as a link between the people and the state while the properties could be worked by German farmers or " Soldier Farmers" and kept without issue. The blood and soil laws are no doubt the backbone of National Socialist ideology and were enforced by the SS, and if I ran with those I would have a fifteen page description.
