The Deutschland Erwache standarte is easily the most recognizable symbol of the 3rd Reich and shows itself in period postcards, tinnies, posters, prints, and film. It is the ultimate collectible and original examples are highly sought after and command large premiums.

This wartime piece was manufactured in Zinc and toned in bronze, there are several variants that can be noted, but what makes this piece most notable is the inclusion of the Deutschland box below the finial as opposed to just the finial wreath and bird. Ulrich in his book " Deutschland Erwache" addresses the significance of these pieces and applications that were used inclusive of dedication pieces and mementos using the standarte design. A very rare and desirable piece for the Third Reich collector.
