Third Reich 1939 factory worker 25 year
anniversary award sculpted and signed in the metal by Hans Scholter.
This heavy bronze finish sculpture shows a laborer being lauded by a
manager who wears what is almost certainly a party pin in his lapel.
This belies the fact that the Nazis had pretty much eliminated labor
unions in Germany by this time.
Mounted on a dark green mottled marble base, the sculpture measures about 10 1/8" in height overall. The brass plaque has stamped, soft black enamel lettering and is attached to the stone by means of two tiny brass brads. Weighs almost 10 lbs. Bottom has typical flocked paper. The sculpture is in excellent condition with no dings or dents. It looks in every way like a true bronze statue. The base has some minor corner chips, but still low excellent.
