Erbhof Wrought Iron Sign # 3380
First time in many years since I have seen an Erbhof sign here... This one is very nice and offered at a fair price compared to what I pulled up out in the market. Displayed on farms to show hereditary rights and Aryan heritage, the Erbhof sign would mean a right to the soil. The Erbhof laws modeled after property rights of ancient Europe and put in place in 1933 by SS Obergruppenfuhrer Richard Darre, would allow property to pass from father to oldest son without hinder. The family would need to be of Aryan heritage and the sign would serve to protect the property from the state or otherwise. The blood and soil laws are no doubt the backbone of National Socialist ideology and were enforced in many cases by the SS. Nice display piece these make with the large Odal rune.
